Asia’s longest-running annual culinary festival expects to happen in Bangkok

Anantara Siam, a family member of Anantara Hotels & Resorts located in Bangkok, Thailand, has revealed that its 25th Annual World Gourmet Festival is set to take place between September 22nd and 28th in 2025 and it will gather a line-up of prestigious culinary talents to celebrate Asia’s longest-running gourmet festival. 

In the announcement, it also released the first batch of celebrated chefs who will join to present a week of unforgettable dining with the addition to transform Bangkok’s iconic address into the beating heart of international fine dining. Additional chefs and events will come out every two weeks. 

Throughout the week, the festival will feature chef’s table dinners, interactive masterclasses, exclusive wine pairings, pastry pop-ups, and spirited after-dark events. 

Moreover, it will also offer curated experiences at every price point, ensuring food lovers from every walk of life can share in this historic moment. Whether it’s a rare bottle pairing or a beautifully crafted bite from a world-class pâtissier — this is a celebration for all. 

On September 23rd, there’ll be a chef collaboration event in the spotlight. Eric Vildgaard, the chef-patron of Copenhagen’s three-starred Michelin restaurant Jordnær rewriting Nordic fine dining with a style that is deeply emotional, technically flawless, and intensely personal, will join hands with Chef Vaughan Mabee who is the executive chef of Amisfield in Queenstown known for crafting edible stories of the wild, on a gourmet discovery. Wine pairing included, the rate is set at THB 18,500 net ($567) per person.

Chef Mabee’s party won’t be over yet because on September 27th he will host a dinner event priced at THB 14,000 net ($429) per person including wine pairing. 

And from September 25th to 27th, Asia’s Best Pastry Chef Janice Wong carrying her dessert visionary of blending art, flavour and innovation in every creation will spoil guests with an iconic afternoon tea experience. It’s available at THB 1,800 ($55) net each.
